Many of us worry about identity theft every time we use our credit card to purchase something, eat out, stay at hotel, etc. It is a reasonable expectation to expect the bank to safeguard our personal information. But what about when the bank becomes the hacker?
An interesting development we have been following is unfolding in Ireland and being reported by the Irish Independent. Apparently, it is not enough for hackers to break into a Credit Union to steal personal information; the Credit Union actually hired people to falsely and illegally obtain information about their own customers!
